Indoor Masses are canceled effective today, Tuesday, July 14, 2020, in accordance with new guidelines from the LA Archdiocese that align with updated Directives from the Governor and the LA County Public Health Office.
The SLM Priests and Staff have come up with a solution to the closure of churches. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we navigate these changes.
Masses will be moved OUTSIDE to the blacktop between the hall and the pastoral center
Here is the schedule:
Daily Mass Mon-Sat 8am Beginning Thursday July 16th– this gives us a day to set up
Sunday Vigil 5pm
Sunday 7am, 9am
Sunday 11 am – Livestream – this will be moved inside
NO SUNDAY 5pm
Few items –
Nothing will be held inside the church except the livestream Mass. No parishioners will be at the Livestream
Social Distancing, No Singing, required Masks, limit of 100 will still be required – even though we are outside.
Daily Prayer is cancelled. We are working on a plan for adoration outside.
We will continue to live-stream Mass over our YouTube channel at 11am on Sundays
Archbishop José H. Gomez dispenses all the Catholic Faithful of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and all Catholics currently in the Archdiocese from the obligation of attending Sunday Mass for until further notice.
During this time of uncertainty we turn our lives over to our loving God and with trust in Him, we embrace the challenges we will face, knowing that God will be with us every step of the way.
